This activity is done once a year and it is performed on first Sunday in month of Syawal.

The ceremony has been done generation to generation. So, if the first day of Lebaran (Islam’s holy day) day comes at Wednesday, the Sea Offerings ceremony will be held on Sunday. According to the respected person, they choose the first Sunday on month of Syawal because they hope that their relatives, who work at other region, are still in the village, so they can still watch the ceremony. Besides, Sunday is holiday, so it can enliven Pandan Simo beach. Automatically, it will increase their income, because a lot of visitors visit the beach.
