People call her, Cicih Suarsih. Born on March 28, 1976 at Majalengka, she started her career by opening sewing machine at her husband’s home at Mbeton sub village DK 12 Tirtonirmolo village, Kasihan sub district, Bantul Regency. But, she felt that it could not be enough to help her husband to make a living.


Watching craft development in Kasongan, which is known with its earthenware craft, Cici with this familiar name had strong will to develop her talent by opening her showroom at Kasongan Street and named it Larisso Souvenir. It was established in 2002. Many souvenir crafts made by Cicih are Wedding invitation made of leaf, candlestick, hand phone bag and many others.

Helped by 2 permanent and 1 daily workers, Larisso can produce 1000 up to 3000 pieces of item in a month with its income ranges from Rp 1 million to Rp 2 million. Her products’ price is various from the cheapest Rp 1.000 up to the most expensive Rp 5.000. She promotes her products in internal country only, such as at Kalimatan, Surabaya and Semarang. Cicih takes the material from Wonosari and near surroundings.
