The leather craft owned by Hadi Prabowo from Karang Asem sub village Rt.05 Rw 34, Pocong, Wukir Sari, Imogiri Bantul started when Hadi Prabowo followed his parents in determining leather craft business. When he had family, he really wanted to be independent. With loan capital, he had strong will to establish his own business in 1989 by following his parents’ leather craft business, which was handled by Rubinem, his wife.


With his determination, Hadi Prabowo and Rubinem kept trying to enlarge their business, so it has finally progressed up till now. To develop his leather-material crafts business which the material taken from Yogyakarta City, he opened showroom at the Art Market of Gabusan at Lots I Kaveling (space between lots) 13.

In a month, Hadi Prabowo and his permanent workers can finish 1000 pieces of item. The products are leather fan, book boundary, puppet and many other products. At this present, the desired products, which become his main products, are fan, book boundary and puppet. The monthly selling income ranges from 1 to 5 millions.

Rubinem, the leather craft maker graduated from Senior High School, has sold his craft products to many big cities in Indonesia such as at Magelang, Bali and Yogyakarta, though it is not sold at foreign countries yet. Nevertheless, she has had permanent customer at Borobudur and Bali.
