Before running his business, Muhari worked in a company as marketer. From this experience, he could read situation and have an idea to change his destiny by establishing his own business, named Arum ceramic in 1998. He also opened showroom at the Art Market of Gabusan Lots 14 Kav.8.


He has 1 permanent and 2 daily workers. Arum Ceramic’s main products are jar, flower vase, candlestick and turtle pencil. “All is made of clay which the material is easy to get, because it is only taken from Kasongan”, Muhari, who was born on March 8th, 1972 in Lanteng 1, Selopamioro, Imogiri, Bantul Regency, said.

The company, which was established with own capital, is regarded new, because its product selling just reaches local market at Yogyakarta and Solo. “At this present, the monthly income ranges from Rp 400 thousands to Rp 1 million. The monthly product capacity rates 500 pieces of item”, Muhari, who graduated from Senior High School, explained.
