The business run by Sugiya, who graduated from Vocational School of Yogyakarta, doesn’t run well since preliminary. When he started his business since 1985, he tried to make a join venture with his friends, but it failed. Nevertheless, it didn’t loose his determination to be a businessman. After learning market condition, he chose ceramic craft as his business.
Recruiting 3 permanent and 6 free workers, he can produce 1000 pieces of item and 6 craft product designs in a month. He produces aromatherapy, sitting lamp, sapo, cup, bowl and teapot. He takes the material from Malang, Singkawang and Sukabumi.
At the end 2004, he opened showroom at the Art Market of Gabusan Lots 14 Kav. 11. To introduce his products, he always follows exhibitions in Indonesia Hotel, Benteng Vredeburg, JEC and RPP Semarang. His monthly income rates Rp 3 to Rp 5 millions with the foreign market to Canada.
