Yusuf, a Dlingo person, has known bamboo craft since he was 6 years old. At that age, he was able to plait bamboo and made a craft. Getting older, with his progress creativity, he then makes various bamboo crafts. And, he entrusts them to the craft shops.


Based on the fact, his craft products were desired and sellable. His order has increased since 1990. Yusuf, who was born in Bantul, sold his craft products without any label. From that time, he had initiative to name his company, PENDAWA. His company has known well with the name of PENDAWA up to now.

His products are meal covers, trays and shelves, and many others. The price ranges from Rp 17.500 to Rp 60.000 per piece, depending on sort, material, model and measurement. There are more or less 100 craft models in his workshop, which is also as production place, which is at Karangasem, Muntuk, Dlingo, Bantul. Phone. 081 7410 8985. Now, PENDAWA’s products have been spread over big cities in Indonesia, such as Bali, Jakarta and Yogyakarta. The foreign markets for PENDAWA’s products are Canada, America and Italy.
