Bantul Regency is sited in the middle of southen side of Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta Province which has a quite prospective potency to be developed.
Therefore, it has a competitif ability which rests on the result of its development that is obtained obviously and positively. Bantul Regency is demanded to be independent and regional development, including its effisiency of regional potency in order to be bebeficial as great as possible for its inhabitants withaut ignoring to carry out its vision and mission of regional development.

The developing cities of growth center in each developing area, the area of south beach will be adjusted to layout, and sub district will be built as New Economic Growth Center.
Developing Piyungan Sub District as Economics Growth Center and International Islamic Village. This area has been prepared as industrial area to manifest conducive-industry climate and receive industry sector for the investor.
The Arrangement of Satellite City Layout Strategic Plan (Master Plan) in part of Kasihan and Pajangan area in 2002.
Trying to manifest pier of fish landing in Pandansimo Beach at Srandakan Sub District. The existence of the pier will hopefully increase the using of sea resources that is not optimally managed, so it will highly push the economics development in south beach area and increase nutritious status of Bantul people. |
